லங்கா ஐ.ஓ.சி பெற்றோலின் விலை குறைப்பு

லங்கா ஐ.ஓ.சி நிறுவத்தின் 92 ரக பெற்றோலின் விலை இன்று வெள்ளிக்கிழமை நள்ளிரவு முதல் குறைக்கப்படவுள்ளதாக குறித்த நிறுவனம் அறிவித்தது.

இதற்கமைய ஐந்து ரூபாவினால் குறைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள லங்கா ஐ.ஓ.சியின்; 92 ரக பெற்றோல் பெற்றோலிய கூட்டுத்தாபனத்தின் எரிபொருள் நிரப்பு நிலையங்களில் விற்கப்படும் விலைக்கே விற்கப்படும் எனவும் நிறுவனம் தெரிவித்தது.

இந்த விலை குறிப்பினை அடுத்து லங்கா ஐ.ஓ.சி நிறுவத்தின் 92 ரக ஒரு லீட்டர் பெற்றோலின் விலை 137 ரூபாவாகும்.

இது தொடர்பில் லங்கா ஐ.ஓ.சி நிறுவனம் வெளியிட்டுள்ள ஊடக அறிக்கையில் மேலும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாவது,

Lanka IOC has decided to restore the Prices of Petrol 92 at par with CPC petrol sheds by reducing Rs.5 per Litre with midnight of 22.05.2020.

LIOC spokesman clarified that “As part of our commitment to stand in  solidarity with our valued customers, the citizens of Sri Lanka in these challenging and unprecedented times of COVID-19 pandemic, wherein best efforts are in place to ensure  early revival of economy, we have decided to absorb the losses on sale of petrol due to increased import duties.

The Oil market crash in Mar’2020 has led to the dismal performance during the Jan-Mar’2020 Quarter resulting in a loss of Rs.346 Mn to the Company".

While price of Diesel is already the same as per CPC sheds, the price of Petrol 92 would also be the same at Lanka IOC sheds with midnight of 22.05.2020 at Rs.137 per litre.
